Recently,the 80-ton high-thrust liquid oxygen methane engine of JiuZhou Yunjian "Longyun" has completed the deep variable thrust hot test and the test was a complete success.

　　The test run has the following salient features:

　　1. For the first time, my country has realized the deep thrust adjustment of the high-thrust liquid oxygen methane rocket engine, and the thrust adjustment capability (throttle to 50% working condition) has reached the world's advanced level;

　　2. The adaptability of JiuZhou Yunjian's thrust adjustment technology on high-thrust engines has been further evaluated and verified. The test results show that the adjustment system is fully suitable for high-thrust engines;

　　3. The success of Longyun engine's multiple start-ups and deep variable thrust hot test runs indicates that my country has mastered the technology of high-thrust recyclable liquid oxygen methane engine.

　　JiuZhou Yunjian's “Lingyun” and “Longyun” engines have successfully undergone deep variable thrust hot test runs, confirming the feasibility of applying high-thrust liquid oxygen methane engines as the main power in recyclable launch vehicles. The recovery of the launch vehicle technology provides a key power foundation, and the "Longyun" engine will be subject to long-range hot testing and other assessments in the future.
