Jiuzhou Cloud Arrow Completes a New Round of Tens of Millions in Financing

In January 2019, Jiuzhou Cloud Arrow completed a new round of financing totaling tens of millions of yuan, with Fengrui Capital, the investor from the company's angel round, continuing to provide support. This round of funding will be allocated toward the company's infrastructure development as well as the research and development of liquid rocket engines and liquid propulsion systems.

This round of financing reflects the trust and support from existing angel-round investors in JiuZhou YunJian, as well as the recognition from investors regarding JiuZhou YunJian's core engine technology and its pragmatic approach. Established in 2017 as a private-sector commercial aerospace company, JiuZhou YunJian adheres to a corporate culture characterized by "passion, innovation, professionalism, and efficiency." The company is dedicated to developing liquid oxygen-methane engines for commercial launch vehicles. Within just over a year since its founding, JiuZhou YunJian has successfully completed the R&D and testing of all component-level products for its Lingyun liquid rocket engine (with a thrust of 12 tons). Furthermore, the first turbopump test conducted in January 2019—a milestone marking China's commercial space industry—demonstrated that the Lingyun engine has achieved breakthroughs across all critical technologies, positioning it on the verge of entering the final assembly and testing phase.
