Supporting our clients' dreams—The signing ceremony for the tens-of-millions procurement contract of liquid rocket engines between Kyushu Rocket Arrow and RocketPi was successfully held!

　　On October 29, 2021, the signing ceremony for the liquid rocket engine procurement contract between Kyushu Cloud Arrow and RocketPi (Beijing) Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. was held grandly at Headquarters Base Zone 3 in Fengtai District, Beijing.

　　Hú Zhōnglín, a first-level researcher at the Aerospace Division of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology; Liao Shengquan, Vice President of Beijing Shidai Langang System Technology Co., Ltd.; Ji Fenglai, General Manager of Jiuzhou Yunjian; Téng Péng, Chairman of Shike Health; and Cheng Wei, Founder and CEO of RocketPi, attended as representatives to jointly witness and participate in the signing ceremony.

　　RocketPi is developing the Darwin launch vehicle, a two-stage liquid-propellant rocket with a diameter of 2.25 meters. The first stage is powered by one Kyushu Yiqian Longyun liquid oxygen-methane engine (LY-70), delivering a sea-level thrust of 70 tons. The second stage is equipped with one Kyushu Yiqian Lingyun liquid oxygen-methane engine (LY-10v), providing a vacuum thrust of 12.5 tons.

　　Jiuzhou Yunjian is a commercial aerospace company dedicated to the development of advanced, deep-thrust liquid oxygen-methane engines designed specifically for supporting rocket recovery and reusability. The company boasts an experienced, fully integrated team specializing in the design, manufacturing processes, production control, assembly, and testing of cryogenic liquid rocket engines. It is equipped with comprehensive high- and low-pressure fluid flow test facilities, as well as a complete set of engine thermal testing rigs and subsystem-level propulsion system test benches for rocket stages. To date, Jiuzhou Yunjian has accumulated nearly 100 million yuan in contracts signed externally for various products and services, successfully serving nearly ten clients from both domestic and international sectors.

　　RocketPi is dedicated to leveraging space technology to enhance and upgrade Earth-based industries, while simultaneously facilitating Earth's seamless connection with the cosmos.
