Recently, the Longyun liquid oxygen-methane engine developed by Jiuzhou Yunjian successfully completed a series of reliability hot-fire tests. As of now, the Jiuzhou Yunjian test facility has accumulated over 100 full-engine hot-fire tests.

Recently, the Longyun liquid oxygen-methane engine developed by Jiuzhou Yunjian successfully completed a series of reliability hot-fire tests. As of now, the Jiuzhou Yunjian test facility has accumulated over 100 full-engine hot-fire tests.
In the first half of 2022, Kyushu Cloud Arrow's 100-ton-class dual-station liquid oxygen-methane hot test stand was operating at full capacity.
The first workstation focuses primarily on the reliability accumulation of the Lingyun engine (LY-10) and the development of its high-performance vacuum version (LY-10V). Meanwhile, the second workstation is dedicated to thrust enhancement and reliability testing specifically for the Longyun engine (LY-70).
Under the robust support of the 100-ton-class hot test facility and the expert guidance provided by the Engine Final Assembly and Testing Center, the Jiuzhou Yunjian Longyun engine fully unleashed its power in the Year of the Tiger. It has successfully completed a series of reliability enhancement assessments, including the first-stage thrust improvement (676 kN), timing optimization and system simplification studies, engine vibration environment optimization, multiple ignition reliability tests, variable-thrust reliability evaluations, and enhanced usability and maintainability. These achievements further solidify the foundation for the development of domestically produced reusable liquid oxygen-methane rockets.
