The Kyushu Yunjian LY-70 Longyun engine has successfully completed its power system hot-fire test. This milestone marks a significant advancement in the application of the Longyun engine to Shangjian, following successful assessments such as thrust enhancement and reliability testing!
This propulsion system test was conducted by Kyushu Cloud Arrow, providing power integration and propulsion system testing services for the client, Jianyuan Technology. The first-stage propulsion system tank tested is a domestically pioneering stainless steel tank developed by Jianyuan Technology. Together, Kyushu Cloud Arrow and Jianyuan Technology have jointly created a cost-effective, reusable technology solution featuring stainless steel tanks paired with liquid oxygen-methane propellants. This cutting-edge approach closely aligns with the most advanced international technologies, exemplified by SpaceX's Starship spacecraft. The successful completion of this test marks a significant breakthrough in stainless steel tank technology combined with liquid oxygen-methane propulsion, laying a solid foundation for future rocket flight tests. It also further enriches China's commercial aerospace sector, driving innovation and diversification within the industry.

It is worth noting that this test was conducted at the Kyushu Yunjian Anhui Bengbu Power Test Center. Following the successful 100-ton-class dual-position liquid oxygen-methane hot-fire test stand, the 100-ton-class propulsion system test stand has also become operational and ready to provide external services. The Bengbu Rocket Power Test Center, characterized by its openness, inclusiveness, professionalism, and enthusiasm, warmly welcomes commercial aerospace enterprises and other private companies to collaborate on testing rockets, engines, and various cryogenic equipment!
