Recently, Jiuzhou Yunjian's "Longyun" 80-ton-class liquid oxygen-methane engine successfully completed three hot-fire test runs for ignition evaluation. This achievement has expanded the application scope of Jiuzhou Yunjian's multi-ignition technology, marking a significant milestone as the engine moves closer to its next engineering phase.
Recently, Kyushu Cloud Arrow's "Longyun" 80-ton-class liquid oxygen-methane engine successfully completed three consecutive hot-fire tests. This test series featured several notable characteristics:
1. China achieves, for the first time, three successful ignitions of a high-thrust liquid oxygen-methane rocket engine, further solidifying its leading position in ignition technology.
2. After undergoing rigorous testing with the Lingyun engine, Jiuzhou Yunjian's launch technology has been further upgraded. The launch system used in this test is identical to the one installed on the rocket. The results demonstrate that the upgraded launch system effectively supports multiple ignition applications of the Longyun engine aboard the rocket.
3. Longyun Engine has taken a solid step toward recyclability and reusability.
First launch: 20 seconds + 120 seconds of gliding; Second launch: 20 seconds + 80 seconds of gliding; Third launch: 30 seconds.
The successive successful three ignition tests of the Jiuzhou Yunjian "Lingyun" and "Longyun" engines have expanded the application scope of Jiuzhou Yunjian's multi-ignition technology. These tests further explore the feasibility of employing high-thrust liquid oxygen-methane engines as primary propulsion systems in reusable rockets, marking that these two engine models are about to enter a new engineering phase.

Subsequent tests will include in-depth thrust variation testing and long-duration thermal testing of the "Longyun" engine.
