The Lingyun Engine Vacuum Version (LY-10V), developed for applications such as rocket second stages or upper stages, delivers a vacuum thrust of 12.5 tons and is designed with a specific impulse of 345 seconds. It marks the company's first liquid oxygen-methane engine specifically tailored for vacuum operation. During this test, the engine's measured thrust performance fully met the specified requirements.
Going forward, Kyushu Cloud Arrow will conduct reliability tests on the Lingyun engine's vacuum version, continuously striving to develop a highly reliable and high-performance classic liquid oxygen-methane engine.
