As of now, the Longyun engine has completed more than 120 start-up tests, with reliability testing time exceeding 10,000 seconds!
Recently, Longyun Engine successfully completed the reliability verification test and evaluation!
As of now, the Longyun engine has completed over 120 start-up tests, with reliability testing time exceeding 10,000 seconds. Specifically, a single engine has achieved continuous operation for up to 3,700 seconds and undergone a maximum of 30 start-up cycles. Comprehensive assessments have been conducted on key features related to the engine's reusability, including wide-range thrust modulation (from 100% to 32%), three consecutive start-ups, simplified operational maintenance procedures, and reliable ignition under low-inlet-condition scenarios. Based on overall reliability requirements, the engine has successfully completed evaluations covering projects such as supercooled propellant handling, pump cavitation resistance, thermal sway tests, off-design condition operations, and mission profile simulations.
